Delete your Freeish account
Freeish is published by Remidy Labs LLC.
Delete it yourself, in the app
This is immediate and needs nothing from us:
- Open Freeish and go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and schedule are removed straight away.
If you can't open the app
Email support@freeish.app from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm once it is done. Writing from the address on the account is how we check the request is really yours — if you cannot, tell us and we will find another way to verify.
What gets deleted
Everything that identifies you or belongs to you:
- Your account and sign-in — you can no longer log in
- Your profile: display name and photo
- Every event on your schedule, including anything you imported
- Your circles, and who is in them
- Who you share with and whose schedules you follow — in both directions
- Any calendar links you created, which stop working immediately
- Invitations you sent that have not been accepted
- Notification settings and the device tokens used to send them
- Your subscription record in Freeish
This happens at once, not on a schedule. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore it afterwards, so please be sure.
Deleting some of your data, without deleting your account
You do not have to close your account to remove things from it. In the app you can delete any individual event, remove a circle, remove your profile photo, and revoke a calendar link or stop sharing with someone — each takes effect immediately, and none of it requires asking us.
For anything you cannot reach that way, emailsupport@freeish.app from the address on your account, describing what you want removed. We will confirm once it is done. The same de-identified records described below are the only things we may keep.
What is kept, and why
Two things outlive the account, and neither is linked to you afterwards:
- Feedback you sent us. If you wrote to us through the app, the note stays so we can still act on what it said — but your account is detached from it, so it is no longer attributable to you.
- A record that an email was sent. We keep which template went out and when, so the same message is never sent twice. Your account is detached from this too, and it holds no message content.
Both are retained indefinitely in that de-identified form. If you would rather they were removed entirely, say so in your email and we will do it.
Your subscription
Deleting your Freeish account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play, because we cannot cancel it on your behalf. Cancel it in your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
