Employer guide

Working at Delta

Crew schedules are awarded as monthly lines describing trips rather than days, spanning time zones and changing with swaps and reassignment.

Freeish is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Delta. This is a guide for employees, written by us. There is no integration with the crew scheduling system or any other employer system — you import a photo or screenshot of your own schedule, and nothing you do in Freeish is visible to your employer.

How schedules reach you

  • Monthly lines are awarded through the bid process.
  • Trips span several calendar days including layovers.
  • Reserve days are on call rather than off.
  • Swaps and reassignment change the awarded line.

Where it stops

A bid line is a precise document that almost nobody outside the industry can read, and the people who most want to read it are at home.

That is the gap Freeish fills. Photograph or screenshot whatever your employer gives you, import it in about a minute, and the people who plan around your hours can see them — without you relaying every change.

Questions from people at Delta

Does it handle time zones?

Can I import my line?
Screenshot it and import the picture, then check what it read.
How do I show reserve?
Put it in as an event covering the reserve window so it reads as unavailable.
