Working at Starbucks
Starbucks schedules are published to partners through an internal scheduling app, usually a couple of weeks out, and change as shifts are swapped and picked up. The app is good at telling you when you work. It has nothing to say to the person at home wondering whether you are back for dinner.
Freeish is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Starbucks. This is a guide for employees, written by us. There is no integration with the partner scheduling app or any other employer system — you import a photo or screenshot of your own schedule, and nothing you do in Freeish is visible to your employer.
How schedules reach you
- Schedules post to the partner app, typically about two weeks ahead.
- Shift swaps and pickups happen through the app and change what was posted.
- Opens can start before five in the morning; closes finish after the doors shut.
- A clopen — close then open — is scheduled as two shifts and felt as one.
Where it stops
Everything your employer gives you is aimed at you. Nobody at home has access to it, so the schedule reaches them only when you relay it — and the relay is what stops happening on a busy week.
That is the gap Freeish fills. Photograph or screenshot whatever your employer gives you, import it in about a minute, and the people who plan around your hours can see them — without you relaying every change.
