Employer guide

Working at Target

Target posts schedules to team members through an internal app, with hours that swing hard between quiet months and peak. Availability is something you submit; the schedule is something you receive, and it moves.

Freeish is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Target. This is a guide for employees, written by us. There is no integration with the team member scheduling app or any other employer system — you import a photo or screenshot of your own schedule, and nothing you do in Freeish is visible to your employer.

How schedules reach you

  • Schedules post to the team member app ahead of the week.
  • Shifts can be picked up or swapped after posting.
  • Hours expand substantially through the holiday season.
  • Early truck and overnight shifts run outside store hours.

Where it stops

Your household plans around your hours, and your household has no way to see them. Every change is a message you have to remember to send.

That is the gap Freeish fills. Photograph or screenshot whatever your employer gives you, import it in about a minute, and the people who plan around your hours can see them — without you relaying every change.

Questions from people at Target

Does Freeish connect to Target’s scheduling system?
No, and it never will — that is deliberate. Screenshot your schedule and import the picture. Nothing you do in Freeish reaches your employer.
Can I import the whole holiday schedule at once?
Yes. A screenshot covering several weeks imports in one go, which matters most at the point in the year your hours change.
Can my team lead see it?
No. There is no connection to any employer system and no way to look someone up.

Your schedule. Where your family can see it.
