Employer guide

Working at Kroger

Kroger schedules reach associates through an internal system and vary widely by department — a night stocking shift and a daytime deli shift have almost nothing in common except the employer.

Freeish is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Kroger. This is a guide for employees, written by us. There is no integration with the associate scheduling system or any other employer system — you import a photo or screenshot of your own schedule, and nothing you do in Freeish is visible to your employer.

How schedules reach you

  • Schedules publish through the associate system for the coming week or weeks.
  • Overnight stocking runs while the store is closed.
  • Weekend cover rotates across the team.
  • Holiday periods add hours with limited notice.

Where it stops

The system tells you when you work. It has no way to tell the person collecting your children, so that job stays yours every single week.

That is the gap Freeish fills. Photograph or screenshot whatever your employer gives you, import it in about a minute, and the people who plan around your hours can see them — without you relaying every change.

Questions from people at Kroger

Does Freeish integrate with Kroger’s system?
No. Import a screenshot instead. There is no connection in either direction, so nothing you do is visible to your employer.
I stock overnight. Can I show when I am asleep?
Add it as an event. It is the only way anyone else can tell being home from being available.
Can family see it without an account?
They can subscribe to a calendar link that puts your shifts into the calendar they already use.
